Riding trail in Somogy County

Get acquainted with the imposing landscapes of the Somogy hills on our several-day long riding trail. The trail starts and ends at Kocsi Csarda in Zamardi-felso. Here you can find Galopp Horse riding Holiday village, which is one of the most beautiful touristic sights on the southern shore of Lake Balaton, located about 5 kilometres away from Siofok and about 120 kilometres away from Budapest.

Program

Day 1

Arrival at Galopp Horse Riding Holiday Village, Zamardi-felso at around noon.Choosing the horses. Trial riding.Dinner. Accomodation in the holiday village.

Day 2

Breakfast at Kocsi Csarda.
Midday dinner at a nice tavern in Adand. 
After dinner the riders rides on to Magyarkeszi.
In Magyarkeszi they get evening meal and accomodation.

Day 3

The second trail starts after a filling breakfast.
The day's terminal point is Felsonyek, one of the most romantic fishing places in Trans-Danubia.
Picnic in the nature.
Dinner with wine-tasting in a wine cellar.
Accomodation in Magyarkeszi.
15 kms of riding

Day 4

It is a pleasant  pastime to fish after breakfast.
After dinner going to Tamasi by bus.
During the afternoon you can enjoy the medical hot baths and  go for a walk to see the sights of the   countryside.
Evening meal.
20 kms of riding

Day 5

After breakfast the riders ride back to Galopp Horse Riding Holiday Village, Zamardi, dinner at the Restaurant of Aunt Anci in Toreki on the way.
In the evening solemn dinner at Kocsi  Csarda.
Accomodation in the holiday village.
35 - 40 kms of riding

Day 6

Breakfast. Departure until 12.00.

 

Those who would like to fish are asked to bring their own fishing-gears with them.
